Pop singer Lemar will headline open a town carnival at the Family Frenzy event on 1st July. Dubbed the “eight-day-weekend”, Saffron Walden Round Table Carnival’s opening night will see British R’n’B star Lemar wowing the crowds.
The R n B star has taken a top 10 hits including If There’s Any Justice, Dance and Time to Grow, and has sold more than two million albums.
After recently announced Mary J. Blige, Mobo and Brit award-winner Lemar on tour with Enrique Inglesias out this year is going.
Nick Head, organiser of events for the carnival, said: “The opening night is always one that the town is keen to support and with the carnival queen competition taking place on April 30, it has allowed a whole night dedicated to music and dance.”
